dephigravity | SO FLUFFY IMMA DIE!

So I have been kinda down ever since I lost my Gracie, and originally I was in no hurry to get a new dog. But my mom has been taking it even worse than I am (Gracie used to sleep on their bed at night) and has been trying to get one for the last few weeks. She puts her name in at the animal shelter and gets her hopes up, only for the owners to finally claim them or to not be first on the list. Then she hunts through the classifieds only to hear they are already sold. Very frustrating for her and not really helping the mood around here lately.

But that all changed Sunday. She was trying to look through an online classified and she wasn't really having much luck so I asked her if she checked facebook, she hadn't. I tried it for her and the first ad that came up in our area was for Shih Tzu mix puppies but over twice the amount for a rescue. I told mom I would loan her the cash, and since we already have my uncle's Shih Tzu, Mazee, we figured we would give it a shot. They texted us back in like an hour or so and said they had one available. WOO!

When we got there, they actually had two of the three available. So I might have fallen in love and bought her one and one for me. Anyway, it turns out they aren't breeders, rather that the mom, a Pomeranian/Shih Tzu mix had a brief but torrid affair with a stray Chihuahua and the parents are using the money to send their son on a mission, so. ANYWHO, I am hereby calling these adorable perfect fluff monsters Shizupomachus! Yes, I know that sounds like a Pokemon, but IDC, IT ADDS TO THE CUTE FACTOR!

I know they won't replace Gracie, and they won't be fully weaned for a few more weeks, but OMG I am so excited, guys. I HAVE A PUPPY!!! Or two! COMMENCE PUPPY SPAM!

Mine is the lighter male with the white stripes, mom's is the female with black. They don't have names yet, but

roundaboutit suggested a few names to me that I am taken with. Preston, Hunter, or Bailey. Leaning towards Bailey, but I also kind like Parker. IDC though I HAVE A PUPPY COMING SOON! *throws confetti* Now to break the news to Gizmo...
