dephigravitySPN is back!!!
Honestly outside of a little wonky bits, I really enjoyed the premiere and I see a lot of potential this season. I really liked the actress who played The Darkness, if given enough to do script wise, I think she could be a truly great villain. I also liked the call backs: ie the Cage mention and the Croatoanesque feel about this contagion? IDK what else to call it. I am really hoping Jared's question about the demon blood was a hint or foreshadowing of things to come. I can't help it, I am and will always be an earlier seasons fan, so the more they harken back to that era the happier I will be.
My only real issue with the episode was the whole suburban swinger Crowley orgy thing, chalking that up to a different taste sort of thing... Personally I like when Crowley is being played as evil, not for humor or whatever this was supposed to be. I mean, he is supposed to be the KING OF HELL! We really went from characters like Azazel, Alistair, Lilith, Meg, Abaddon, and Lucifer to this? Don't get me wrong, I like Crowley and Mark... it's just, I honestly think Crowley would be better suited as a lieutenant rather than the freaking king unholy DMV clerk. W/E.
