Anyway... because it is that time of year, and I live solely for the art of procrastination, I present you with my year in fandomish review:
The Fic
Sun-kissed (J2, ~1,600 words, NC-17)
In which Jared is enamored with what a day in the sun does to Jensen's face.
All You had to Do was Ask (Sam/ Dean, ~2,400 words, NC-17)
Ever since he started hunting with Dean again, Sam tried to hold his feelings in check. Finally, he can't take any more and decides it's time for a little release while Dean's out.

Stranded out in the middle of nowhere, Jensen's grumpy and Jared decides to cheer him up.

In which Jensen's ready to have sex, and Jared's more than ready. Now the only thing that stands in their way is a trip to the drug store.
You Could Be My Sanctuary (J2, ~16,800 words, R)
Private School AU. His father being the Dean of students, Jensen has barely known life outside the walls of Lakewood Academy. He's grown distant and jaded, most of the time keeping to himself rather than interact with his fellow students and teachers. But his life is about to change completely when a new student, Jared, transfers to Lakewood and seems determined to make Jensen come out of his shell.
A 'lil Liquid Courage (J2 pre-slash, ~2,300 words, R)
In which it's Jared vs. a little glass of purple heaven and loses but ends up winning anyway
You Don’t Need Matches to Burn (J2, ~3,100 words, NC-17)
Jensen’s never been one for camping, and Jared’s a pro at roughing it.

Has me a DeviantArt that I get yelled at for having ~porn on. *grumble*
Opened me a Tumblr that I forget to updateand lose an ungodly amount of time looking at porn on
So, ~32,700 words of fic actually surprises me. I thought I was far under that, even given the 3-4K worth of unpublished fic that I have collecting dust on my hard drive. My goal is to balance in more writing this year, I have been really bad about even attempting to write lately. Also, finish mythepurpledove fics. FINALLY. No more charity fic for me...
And I can't believe I drew all that in one year and my tablet still likes me, and I still have more to do and post. You can definitely tell I am slowly figuring out what I'm doing over the year, or at least I think so. Just look at the difference of my chibis alone between myj2_everafter and my advent calendar gifts. Here's hoping 2012 I can learn even more. Like how to freaking cell shade, ink more realistic looking pics decently, and color like a mo fo. Thinking I am going to attempt using SAI and see what happens.
I also managed to get into a few new shows this season, and lost all interest in at least one. Game of Thrones and Spartacus are amazing in all their sexy and gory glory. Dexter is widely irreverent and I love it in its morbidity and dark humor. Walking Dead I love, but will wait for the DVDs to continue it. Sons of Anarchy I blame completely ontransfixeddream. But omg JUICE!!! ♥ and with a lesser degree Jax. Who would ever have thought I would fall in love with a show with unkempt biker men and gang violence up the wazoo? American Horror Story is like my guilty pleasure show. I hate it but can't not watch, and I think I actually know what the hell is going on. Glee can die a horrid death in a fucking fire for all I care. Ryan Murphy has a knack for killing any and all whimsy and watchablity in his shows as they progress. Time will tell if the same goes for AHS, but seeing as how it will have *spoiler alert* NOTHING in common with the first season, including story, house, and characters, I will still give it a shot. And I still love Big Bang Theory. It is like the one sitcom I will actually watch. Loves me some triple Penny knocking.
Overall my biggest resolution for next year: Read All The Fics! \o/ My poor kindle has a sad. /o\
And with all coding and my fic nagging at me to work on it, that's a wrap! That and I am craving a meatball sub. Hope you all have a wonderful New Year!

Ugh. American Horror Story. Guilty pleasure indeed, one I started because Zachary Quinto was going to be in it, and now I'm stuck, finding myself handwaving the odd chronology and screwy continuity much in the same way the writers have to be at this point. (Spoiler: but the deal with Violet and how she found out was honestly pretty damn creepy and awesome).
Now go, have yourself that meatball sub. You deserve it because holy crap, ALL THE CODING.

Totally right there with you on AHS. I tuned in for the ghost story aspect, I'm a sucker for a good ghost story. But half the time I am just so damn confused. Does Tate know he's dead or not. Everything up to Constance telling Violet he doesn't know makes me think he doesn't. But everything he's done after points to he does know. Why does Moira shift between young and old, and why is she obsessed with sex when from what we've seen of her past, that is a little out of character for her? Aaand why doesn't Constance just buy and move back into the damned house if she wants it that bad? UGH, the questions! All that and a rubber suit. Oy!
As for the coding, my procrastination-fu is strong! ;)
