Well hey there, long time no chat. I don't think I have done a status update in a very long time. /o\ I just never know what to say in them I guess. But I shall try, so let the pent up rambling begin!

WARNING: I may have too much energy tonight.

Winter blows. I think it is safe to say SEASONAL DEPRESSION. But yay, Spring! Even if that means Idaho winds blowing away my new grill cover like Mary Poppins. >:\ Luckily one of the neighbors found it, as it turned up on our front porch today. But yeah, SUN! I am also trying to get in better spirits and eating better. I also gave up pop (soda, what have you) three days ago and I haven't killed anyone, so. I have also decided that as much as I love it here, I will never truly be happy in Idaho, but moving is a long time in coming.

Hmm, I am still unemployed, mostly because I haven't really bothered looking for anything. From the sounds of it though, things at my old job have only gotten worse, so I am glad to be out of that drama. I'm not really sure what I want to do now though, which scares the hell out of me-- being &%^$@ years old and no real life plan is scary as shit, let me tell you! I do know that I have done my time in retail and so not plan on doing it again, that's for damn sure. I am debating on whether to go back to school or not, but the main problem there is that anyone who knows me, knows that I am inherently lazy and/or easily distracted. I start something with all the ambition to succeed and then, "OH, SHINY! What do you mean where's my essay on the secret life of the Nacriremans? Pfft, I have time." (10 pts if you get that reference.) I still have time left to decide, but I really want to figure something out by the end of the summer. Anyone hiring? :P

TV wise I have been on the down low. Supernatural Season 8 .................... Glad we got that covered. Yep moving right along, shall we? I can't WAIT for Teen Wolf Season 3! It has been far too long of a hiatus, and the only thing keeping me alive is that it will be twice the size of their previous seasons. But alas, no Jackson. :( DANNY STILL THINKS HE'S DEAD, GUYS! T.T But hey, he's on Arrow now, and hopefully by next season he will be clad in skin tight red leather. Mmm. Colton in leather.

AHEM! Where was I? Oh yes, SPARTACUS! OMFG!!! Okay let's get one thing straight, I was very meh about 3/4 of this season. The only new characters that I actually really cared about were Tiberius, Sabinus (HELLO GLORIOUS NEW CANON SHIP, YES CANON IDEC!) and Kore. [SPOILERS] And then what happened? Tiberius ends up having to help kill Sabinus thanks to his father, and in revenge rapes Kore, then Caesar (who I loathed,) only to in turn get taken captive by Spartacus who is ready to turn him back over to Caesar who intends to rape him multiple times on the way back to his father but is instead stabbed to death by Kore who then ends up crucified alongside Gannicus and all the other slaves, and then UNT SPARTY DIES. *fuming* Thank god for the last episode because there were no more tables left to flip... Nagron lives, SQUEE! [END SPOILERS]

Other shows I am watching now: Smash (yes, I know I am only like one of three of us,) Being Human(US,) Game of Thrones, Arrow obviously, CSI, the Following (PAUL *SOB*) and RuPaul's Drag Race. YES, RUPAUL'S DRAG RACE! I don't know why, but I have been watching A SHIT LOAD of gay themed movies, tv shows, and documentaries lately. I mostly blame Netflix, but if any of y'all know where I can find PLAYABLE episodes for season 1 and 4 of Drag Race, I will love you forever! I don't really have a favorite queen this season, but OMG the hate boner Roxxxy Andrews has for Jinkx Monsoon, DAMN GIRL! I think I will just wait for them to kill each other so that Alaska Thunderfuck (best drink ever) can win after the dust settles. As a side note, it made my YEAR when Mike Ruiz followed me on Twitter. I know he follows a lot of people, BUT seeing as how I wasn't following him at the time he followed me, YEAR.MADE.COM!

As a side note, 8: the Mormon Proposition is a very interesting documentary about the LDS role in the Proposition 8 fiasco. And if you pay attention you can see my eternal regional shame as the newscaster they show with the Local News 8 logo, is our own Idaho Falls co-anchor, Karole Honas. /o\ She is actually a very nice lady IRL and does not represent the views expressed in the film, and neither does her co-anchor Jay Hildebrandt (he's liberal and has one VERY hot son, Jeff, that I worked with.) FWIW the LDS church is trying to mend a lot of fences with the gay community lately, but we will see what happens in the future.

Fandom wise, I have not been very active outside of the newsletter lately. I think it is a matter of winter time blahs, Season 8, and TW HELLATUS. No fears though, I am not leaving anytime soon. I should be posting a much delayed Sam/Dean charity piece by the end of this month! I am also signed up for BB as an artist, though that will depend entirely on me seeing a summary that catches my eye. I also will be unleashing

tw_everafter once I get around to finishing the comm and making banners, art, and stuff. Anyone interested in helping run it when it's live?

One last thing of note, and mostly to prove that I am not entirely unproductive and HOPEFULLY reward you for listening to me ramble on and on about absolutely nothing: A former coworker commissioned me to design him a possible tattoo. It will be his first-- if he doesn't faint at the needle. Anyway, "i kinda have this picture in my head of something blue with the gargoyle sort of ghosted into it. they would use white ink to tattoo the ghost smoke part, i'd know it is blue and evil but nobody else would." The only other thing he mentioned was that he liked dog faced gargoyles as opposed to a fully demonic one, so I came up with this:
