Howdy, y'all! (sorry, I blame akintay for turning me into even more of a country boy than I already am... for all the right reasons, but more on that in a minute.)

How are all of you? Sorry, I haven't been around all that much, I've been REALLY busy as of late and neglectful of my Flist, but should be back soon enough!



• For the past six weeks I've been participating in mating_games. For those of you that don't know what that is, it is an annual team based Teen Wolf pornathon. Each week we get a theme (Canon Divergence, Tropes, Fairy Tales, etc) and we then have one week to either write a fic or make art based around that. We've also had weekly themed bonus challenges (recipes, meet cutes, crossovers,etc.) There is voting and points, and so far my Team--GO TEAM SPARK-- is in the lead. Anywho, I've made five porn or porn adjacent arts, each with a different pairing, and four quick art bonus arts. SO MUCH DICK, OMG. I haven't posted my final piece yet, but it will go up as soon as reveals are posted Saturday. This challenge was VERY CHALLENGING but pretty dang fun. Would do again!

• spn_j2_bigbang has already started posting! If you didn't hear, this year I lucked out and snagged akintay's j2 ranch fic-- hence the country boy resurgence. I always try to do as much as I can for Big Bang because it's my favorite challenge by far, and this year I had a LOT to draw from. I still have more to do, but I think this is the most art on any individual thing I have ever done art for. PHEW! Can the 27th be here already? On second thought, no, because STILL SO MUCH TO DO!

• There are two memes going around that I really want to do, but I might need to take a break first. The first is a 30 days of porn meme, which would obviously take me more that 30 days. /slow artist is slow. The second is a color meme going around on tumblr. If you haven't seen that one, I basically take x amount of requests. Those requests are basically limited to a single character from one of my fandoms and on of the 5 color color palletes on the meme. I'm only allowed to use those colors, which seems both scary and exciting! I have seen SO MANY AMAZINGLY FABULOUS pieces come from this! But like I said, I need a break... especially from the porn.

• Lastly, while all of this has been going on, we've been preparing for a massive garage sale. We've been clearing out a lot of our clutter from, sheds, storage units, the garage... OMG SO MUCH WORK! But hopefully I will see $$$ in my near future. I alone have over 100 DVDs, my old art tablet, four video game systems, clothes... so much... This has been difficult juggling with all the art stuff I've been doing, but somehow I've managed to not off myself... or anyone else.

Game of Thrones Finale \O/
Penny Dreadful \O/ (except for that god awfully boring Vanessa flashback episode)
Orange is the New Black- never saw before but binge watched two seasons in what little spare time I had. Three things: LOVVVVVVE THIS SHOW. RED! (Kate Mulgrew is always welcome on my tv) WHY IS PIPER?
Teen Wolf Season Four starts soon! \o/
Amazing Spider-man 2 was okay, not as good as the first one. But I will gladly pay money to see Andrew Garfield's ass in the Spidey suit anyday.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier \O/\O/ SO GOOD!
Godzilla \O/ Though I wish they would have shown a little bit more of Godzilla himself.
Still have not seen X-men but I hear it is fantastic.

Wow, you've been busy! Can't wait to see your Big bang work, that's something to look forward to.

Good luck with your sale! We're constantly trying our best to de-clutter as well. Tis a lot of work but it's so worth it in the end. :)

OMG I NEED TO COMMENT ON ALL YOUR ART MEME PIECES! I saw most of them but have been a bad commenter! /o\ I really want to do it, though! It really seems to get the creative juices (ew) flowing!

For BB, so far I have 1 Jensen solo piece, a divider, five individual chapter header pieces, two landscape variations one a GIF,) directional buttons, and two icons. PLUS I am working on a Jared solo piece, at least one J2 piece (possibly NSFW,) and if I have the time another J2 piece and maybe a Danneel piece. soooo much. I can totally get this done in 8 days while holding a garage sale! *weeps*

Orange is the new black is one fucking awesome show.. I am now waiting for season three.. It's going to take forever since I watched the entire 2nd in one weeks time.. why didn't I use my time management more wisely.. Red is one of my faves but then so is Poussey and Tastey together and Nicky. Coputo is my fave staff member and Healy is 2nd. I like them all really but some stories back and present have more interest for me than others.

What do you mean Why Piper??? Because she has so much fucked up shit going on and is so messed up herself that I can't imagine why Piper being a question... Self absorbed, egotistical, me me me gal that she is.

OMG this garage sale is gonna be nuts! Between my mom and I, we look like a Blockbuster going out of business sale! Soooo many movies, video games, systems, etc...

I will probably do the porn challenge... EVENTUALLY. but 6 weeks of 1 weekly challenge was hard enough, 30 days will probably be more likely a year long thing for me :P YOU SHOULD TOTALLY DO IT!

I love OINTB and I really like the majority of the characters... Piper included. But she is the least interesting inmate by FAR. And when she tries to act like a hardened criminal inmate it just makes me laugh and think, "BITCH, PLEASE! Sit your white upper class ass down, Martha Stewart!"

The GoT finale was awesome! I loved every minute, and it made up for the penultimate episode Siege at Castle Boredom!

We saw Godzilla. I liked it, but did think it was a bit on the slow side. Plus, the characters just weren't developed enough for me; I didn't really care about any of them (aside from Bryan Cranston's character, and he came and went so fast). Godzilla was cool, though. Hubby said all he ever did was swim. He dozed off, then woke up to find Godzilla... swimming. LOL.

Loved Captain America: The Winter Soldier - excellent stuff - and Amazing Spider-man (although I can't believe what they did with Gwen!).

I loved Godzilla, but I agree. There seemed like a lot of time where Godzilla was either swimming, or they would cut away right when the action started happening. But then, if you watch Gojira or any of the other Japanese Godzillas, they actually spend very little time on the actual monsters, so...

I was expecting what happened with Gwen because it was always canon. But it sucks, because they have such good onscreen (and off) chemistry. That and and I never cared for the previous movie version of Gwen or Mary Jane. I just hope that when they introduce MJ, she is as equally as great as Ms Stacy.
