* I setup an Instagram forever ago, but never really used it... but seeing as how Jared and Jensen both now post there I decided to dust it off. Not sure just how much I will use it, because of its over reliance on phone use/forced cropping/squishing--unless you use another app--/fuzzying art kinda irritates me... but, yeah. So, yeah, if you want you can follow me on my Instagram.

* I'm also finally working on replying on BB comments and adding some more stuff to my Society6 shop. Still considering Redbubble, cuz Society6 can be a tad pricey, but w/e.

* Need to read dugindeep's starting draft of our Pacific Rim collab. And STILL needing to knock out some more chibi commissions before I even start to think about working on my J2!Castlevania artwork... all while desperately trying to avoid diving face first into the Steve/Bucky and Avengers/Marvel fandom.

* I fail at reading BB fics again, tho I have quite a few earmarked or on my Kindle.

* Still waiting to hear back on that position change at work. Guy that makes the call is on vaca, ugh!

* I really miss the active days of fandom here on LJ. Like really! I just don't feel at home on the other formats. And kudos/likes/reblogs will never replace the feeling of a good comment.

Mmmm Lemonade is my go-to for pretty much anything. Bc I'm lazy single, I do the single-serve pouches. But there is actually a really great one for Keurig! It makes it highly concentrated and hot then you pour over a big glass of ice and stir, then it gets watered down to a delicious, sweet (not very sour) lemonade.

I feel like the only logistical thing for me - that I would use AND feel comfortable being seen - is the iPad cover, but yeahhhhhh, that's a lil pricey.

yeah I don't really use my other accounts on other places lol and yes instagram is weird and with the mirror imaging of things, I mean I guess it makes us more appealing to ourselves, because we that's what we see, and yeah I dunno. I think LJ still feels more like ours, and the other places are all out in the open, and with the weird detachment.

I need to read certain bb's and admire certain art too *nods*

There is such a disconnect! I mean, I am a tad antisocial and introverted, but with sites like tumblr, this lurker type mentality has run rampant! God forbid you spend two seconds to interact with and artist/author/fellow fan of something you like! NO SIR, I DO NOT LIKE IT!

I am a tad antisocial and introverted definitely me too, but yeah, and I mean the commenting systems they have are lame anyway, but yes they have buttons, buttons you just have to click, click, done, proof that you liked it, but yeah not exactly what one would call feedback, and the thing they claim as the point of those platforms is the directness/immediacy, but it lacks the community soul

It isn't really fic friendly other than to link it to a better site.

And getting your artwork seen is hard as fuck! You can try and tag appropriately, but you have to be exact, and know what the popular tags are, and then only the first five tags show up in searches anyway. You have to make sure you post at specific times when traffic is high enough for people to search, but not too high enough for your tagged piece to get lost in the shuffle. Submitting your art to another tumblr is a joke! So basically you are left with hoping and praying that someone big and popular sees and reblogs your work so that others can see it... See my Steve piece as evidence. Busted my ass off on it and I have a whole whopping 10 notes on it, with only 1 reblog. It makes it very disheartening...

I just found you on tumblr and your Captain America picture which I really like. I don't really get commenting on tumblr or twitter for that matter but I'm slowly figuring it out. I don't really feel too safe saying too much on tumblr. I still like LJ the best. I've not got the faintest idea about instagram but I figure anything really important will get posted to tumblr or whatever and I'll see it then. I try to keep up with a lot of it because I have a middle school kid and I probably ought to know about the latest and greatest.

It seems like a good portion of the spn fandom that I know here on LJ is drifting off to other fandoms and interests but it's still fun to keep up with what they're doing and creating.

\O/ Yay for finding me on tumblr! Commenting on tumblr is kinda odd. You can comment in the post when you reblog, but then anyone reblogging from you will reblog the comment as well unless they take it out... so most artists that I know actually prefer comments in the tags. ODD, I KNOW! But it works... just don't do the same think in the AO3 tags, cuz, yeaaaah. :P

Tumblr is also known to be kind of a powder keg (ie HOLY FUCKING UNDERSTATEMENT!!!) when voicing opinions, which is why I rarely post text posts anymore... it just isn't worth the risk of a backlash.

Instagram is just, idk, confusing to me. I figure most of my pet pictures will end up there. :P

EXACTLY! they are nice to look at, but unless you are in the mood for a very heated debate, tumblr is just NOT the place for conversation. Twitter can be fun, but god forbid you have like a 200 character statement to say. :P
