WOW, you know you don't post that often when 'just cuz' posts cause you to fret over a subject line for ten minutes... WHAT EVEN?! Anyways... Hi everybody! My name is Nick and I will be your tour guide on this not-so quick little jaunt through Rambling Town.
First things first: I went to go see Avengers: Age of Ultron today... FINALLY!
( SPOILERS and Thinky Thoughts of the Word Vomit kind )
WOW, did not really think I had that much to say on the matter. APOLOGIES!
Now on to greener pastures...
I have been trying to dive back into my arting, and what better way to do that than to dive right off the high dive? I decided to put up some chibi offers on fandomaid, so I have a total of nine of those coming (well one is done now.) This kind of excites me, because I am stepping completely out of my SPN/J2/Teen Wolf sandbox and including things like Star Wars and some more Marvel stuff. YAY! Someone at work hired me to draw a picture of her daughter as Alice at the tea party, so that will be my next immediate project. Not sure if I will be posting that online, but there's that.
BUT NOW FOR THE REALLY EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT!
Big Bang season is upon us! I was wavering on whether to do it this year or not, mostly because of work/ those commissions/ and the overall darkness in the prompts this year... Seriously, how is it there is an overall unspoken theme each year??? Mpreg, Knotting, Dragons, etc. ANYWAY... I had a list selected but wasn't going to claim until I noticed that my top choice was still available after the initial floodgates opened. At that point I HAD TO HAVE IT! and man did I luck out on my choice!
( Summary )
Those of you that have known me for a really long time know that I have a fondness for High School AUs, but you take that and intertwine it with religion and I AM ALL OVER IT! I've never been all that religious myself, but growing up Mormon, I saw the impact religion has on gay youth. And for some reason I've always been intrigued by Catholicism, so THIS HAD TO BE MINE!
And the best part??? I get the great pleasure of working with
dugindeep once again! We got to play together in
j2_everafter a while back and now we get to do it again! SERIOUSLY, I LOVE THIS WOMAN! I had absolutely no clue it was her fic, but now I am feeling remarkably blessed that I picked this fic!
